We are currently developing our Next Generation Higher National (NextGen: HN) prototype qualifications. This involves developing and piloting qualifications to test and challenge our NextGen: HN design principles, grading models and related documentation.
This course will provide guidance, and further information for centres involved in pilot delivery of Next Generation: HN (NextGen: HN) qualifications.
Pilots are being undertaken to enable SQA to fully understand the effectiveness of the NextGen: HN designs and test out key aspects of the qualifications including the approach to meta-skills and the application of new grading models.
This course aims to give pilot centres an understanding of what to expect during the NextGen: HN development and pilot stages.
