These categories are about to undergo some radical changes to make them easier to discover and use. Over time the contents will also change to reflect contemporary learning practice too. Are you an enthusiastic and committed teaching professional looking for a new challenge? Do you want to gain valuable insight that will benefit your students? SQA markers are at the heart of our examination operations, gaining valuable insight into assessment and quality assurance processes.
We are currently recruiting markers across all subjects and levels for the 2018 examinations.
Please note that applicants must have at least two years of teaching experience at the level they wish to mark.

The Information Governance Team are leading SQA’s preparation for the implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). A monthly GDPR Bulletin is to be published and this first edition is now available.
This is an online learning course to provide Test Administrators with information on Standards and Testing Agency (STA) Item Validation Trial (IVT) for Key Stage 2 (KS2) in English reading; English grammar, punctuation and spelling and Science.
In April 2015, SQA joined many other public bodies in Scotland and became a National Corporate Parent under the Children and Young Person (Scotland) Act 2014, giving it a number of responsibilities to young people who experience the care system.
