This course uses the blended learning approach with both online and face-to-face learning activities. Delegates are provided with many opportunities to reflect on their learning and teaching practice in a supported environment whilst gaining accreditation for CPD hours. Throughout the course and beyond the focus is on the impact this professional development activity will have on the learners' experience in school/college.

Aim of Event

• to provide an understanding of the importance of giving feedback to students and its influence in improving learning
• to support delegates in writing prelim questions for Intermediate 2 or Higher care so that candidates can be better prepared for the external assessment and valid appeals evidence can be generated if necessary
• to support delegates in applying SQA's Intermediate 2 or Higher care marking instructions appropriately so that candidates are given a realistic view of their progress and reliable appeals evidence can be generated if necessary.
