The course uses the blended learning approach with both online and face-to-face learning activities. Delegates are provided with many opportunities to reflect on their learning and teaching practice in a supported environment whilst gaining accreditation for CPD hours. Throughout the course and beyond the focus is on the impact this professional development activity will have on the learners' experience in college.

This is a blended learning induction course for new and returning national qualification (NQ) lecturers focusing on SQA policy and procedures involved in the delivery of NQs and the key features and attributes of the learning process. There will be an emphasis on current learning theory and how this translates into practice for NQs.
