- A training course for authors
- This course has been designed as a short on-line course that will provide SQA Staff with some general advice and guidance that may aid them when preparing for an SQA Appointee interview.
New technologies are frequently used in SQA centres to support teaching and learning and are increasingly being used in the assessment process. Where centres are using resources such as e-testing systems, e-portfolios and social software to facilitate assessment, this is generally enriching the learning process for candidates and facilitating quality assurance for SQA.
If you are a member of SQA staff, or an SQA Appointee, involved in developing, assessing or quality assuring SQA qualifications, this resource is intended to support you by;
- providing an overview of some of these emerging technologies, with examples of how they are currently being used in SQA and other qualifications
- encouraging you to consider using these resources, where appropriate, when specifying or implementing assessment and quality assurance for SQA qualifications.
The resource is a draft product, still under development, and we would welcome your input to help make it of use to as wide a range of SQA colleagues as possible.
